About the SEI Program

The SEI Program has three components:

  • Team Projects
  • Seminars
  • Outreach

Team Projects

The team projects have been selected to support current critical needs of NASA. Students work in interdisciplinary and multi-level (freshman to senior) teams with faculty and graduate students who serve as both technical advisors and mentors.

Seminars

The SEI Seminars are designed to invite seasoned industry engineers for presentations on different topics; fundamentals of systems engineering, skills needed by today's engineers in leadership positions, discussion groups on the value of summer internships, discussion groups on research and pursuit of a graduate degree.

Outreach

The SEEI Outreach Program presents information about space systems engineering careers to: math and/or science teachers, high school students, counselors, and parents. As an SEI student you will visit high schools, high school career fairs, and help host high school events in the Look College of Engineering. You will not only be ambassadors for the SEI, but for the College of Engineering and Texas A&M University.
